• Flexibility of Supported Billing Media. BillPort® supports data capture from all vendors, for all services and equipment, and all media types (CD, EDI, .xls files, and .csv files, magnetic tape, scanned images, mail attachments, paper). Invoice Insight staff loads these invoices and adapts BillPort® to any ongoing changes in electronic billing formats.
• Rapid Presentment. All invoices are loaded and then presented within BillPort® for on-line approval, within 2-3 business days of receipt by Invoice Insight. Paper invoices are date stamped, sorted, scanned, and data-entered, and electronic bills are parsed (converted from vendor formats to a standard, usable database format) and then loaded into BillPort®.
• Data Accuracy. Multiple layers of human and automated quality control procedures ensure exceptionally high levels of data accuracy, ensuring that client data are delivered correctly and on-time.
• Bill Consolidation. Invoice Insight will contact vendors, under a Letter of Authorization from each customer, to consolidate invoices, as appropriate.
• Conversion of Paper to E-bills. Invoice Insight will work with each customer and their vendors to convert paper bills to available electronic formats, as appropriate. This increases levels of detail and validation, which is especially helpful for large invoices.
• Other Information Management. BillPort® supports multiple Application Program Interfaces (API's) to enhance visibility and validation of information dependencies and allow clients to increase BillPort® value continually. For example, by integrating employee information, your can manage wireless device assets in real-time, creating relationships between employee information (from PeopleSoft HR, for example) and vendor billing information (e.g., AT&T Wireless) which empowers you to pay only for your current employees' services. It is surprising how often you pay for services that another company is using or that former employees continue to receive.
